The Ephemeral Series Vol 1 is a compilation of original tunes performed live by The 3.5.7 Ensemble on WNUR for the radio program Air Play. These recordings feature pieces composed by Chris Dammann, Tim Stine, and Nick Anaya, and represent the wide array of compositional and improvisational styles within the group. Long form compositions such as Garuda and Green, Blue, and Red stand juxtaposed with the graphically scored Ode to 2 and up-tempo Hand to Mouth giving a strong impression of the groups diverse sound.
